I was born and raised in New Orleans. In 2005 Hurricane Katrina destroyed my home and all my belongings. I packed up and moved to Nashville. After being in Nashville for only 2 years with no family except my kids, I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma.


Five days later I had a radical hysterectomy. Nashville has become a place of
spiritual and emotional healing and renewal. I have been handcrafted by God in
Nashville.

I am a daughter.

I am a mother.

I am a Lola (Grandmother).

I am a Wife.

I am cancer free.

I am a survivor.
